Ho Tian Yee
Managing Director & Chief Investment Officer

Ho Tian Yee has over 30 years’ experience in global currency markets and organizational management. He is a shareholder and founding member of Pacific Asset Management (S) Pte Ltd since its inception in 1995. As the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and assumes overall responsibilities for all investment decisions and risks, and oversees the entire operation of the company.
He spent 19 years with Bankers Trust Company, Singapore where he last held dual positions as General Manager and Regional Head of South East Asian operations. Tian Yee was responsible for the development and execution of the bank’s global trading business in Asia.
Currently, he serves as non-executive director on the boards of companies of the Singapore Exchange Ltd, Fraser & Neave Ltd, Singapore Power Ltd and Times Publishing Limited. He was appointed on the Risk Committee of the GIC in June 2004.
He holds a Bachelor Of Economics Degree (Honours) from Portsmouth University, United Kingdom.
Chua Beng ChoongInvestment Manager
Chua Beng Choong analyses research and market information relating to the G3 and Asia Pacific fixed income and credit markets, implements investment strategies for interest rates and high yield credits.
Prior to joining Pacific Asset Management in 2006, he served as Senior Investment Officer of the Investment Company Of People’s Republic of China (ICPRC). He managed portfolios of US Treasuries, Euro Bunds, JGBs including USD denominated asset-backed, mortgage-backed securities and US agency bonds.
He commenced his career at Deutsche Asset Management (Asia) Ltd in 1999 where he was responsible for managing their Asia fixed income and Singapore fixed income portfolio.
Mr Chua holds a Bachelor Of Business Degree from Nanyang Technological University (1999) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (2001) and Financial Risk Manager, GARP (2002).
Chong Chee LoongInvestment Manager
Mr Chong undertakes analysis of global macroeconomic projections for G10 countries, identifies global trends, translate them into medium term currency forecast and implements currency trading strategies.
Chee Loong joined Pacific Asset Management in 2008. He commenced his career at the Monetary Authority of Singapore in 1995. He held positions within the Securities Regulatory Development and Market Conduct Policy Divisions of the MAS. In 2004, he served as a Lead Portfolio Manager, FX, Liquidity & Gold Division of the Reserve & Monetary Management Department of the MAS.
Mr Chong holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from Nanyang Technological University (1995) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (1998).
